On Sunday Reagan and I went and tried out a new bar in town, food and wine were delicious. The sun was shinning, spring is just around the corner. We took these pictures by the river, though cause it was so windy, i couldn't get a great shot of the arms, so we took those inside when we got some, it was so worth it.

I've been eyeing this dress of for a while now, and last week ASOS had a great sale on so i snapped it up. I couldn't wait til the weekend to wear it, the weather is still cool here in Australia, so tights and jacket were needed, i can't wait til summer time. I just love this dress and have already worn in twice.

So today i have been home along, Hubby is at work, In laws are out, so what does one do, well possible, lots of things but nope! Cooked some cup cakes instead. I got both the cake recipes from here Ming Makes Cup Cakes numbers 6 and 7. Though i did change the toppings. This is my first attempt at piping on the frostings, pretty pleased with myself!

Sunday afternoon the weather was stunning for a winters day, so Reagan and I went for a drive to a lavender farm for afternoon tea, when we got there the cafe was closed! The lavender isn't in bloom the moment, but i still thought this was a nice place to take pictures. We ended up driving on to the next town and had a coffee and cake, and walked around an antique shop, it was a beautiful afternoon.

French Toast and Bacon Cup Cake!

I love to cook and have been getting more involved in it again lately. I came across this recipe online that just sounded so strange but so good at them same time. Everyone told me it was weird but when they ate them, they were surprised how good they were. Here's some picture of the whole process.

I used splenda in the recipe instead of sugar in the cake mixture, no one could tell!

Instead of doing strips i diced mine fine!

Final product, though not as professionally piped as the recipe i followed, but its a work in progress and they still tasted so good!

A couple of weeks ago, I feel over at work and that resulted in my shredding a ligament in the knee, which could take up to 3 months of physio to get back to who knows really! So some of my OOTD will be with my lovely annoying knee brace.
