Wedding Day: Part 5: The Cake

Our cake had 1 tier which was sticky date with caramel and  80 cup cakes with four different flavours. The four flavours were: Peanut butter cake with chocolate ganache centre and salted peanut frosting, Vanilla bean with vanilla butter cream, White chocolate mud with raspberry centre and white chocolate butter cream and Dark chocolate mud with dark chocolate ganache. Every guest went home with a cup cake. Everyone loved the cake and cup cakes.

Wedding Day: Part 4: Reception

Our reception was held on the grounds of our wedding, the people converted a barn to a beautiful room, with a nice deck area outside. Here are a few snaps of the evening.

Wedding Day: Part 2: The Ceremony

We got married in a little town out in the middle of now where close to were my parents live, at the time we chose the area my dad was ill and i didn't want him to have to travel far. I live 4hrs north from my parents. Unfortently in June 11' we lost my father, but in his memory we still got married in this place, it was truly magical. The reception was also on the grounds, in a barn that had been converted.

Wedding Day Part 1: Pre Ceremony

On May 19th 2012, I married my as i say sexy man. As we married in Autumn we were worried about the weather and what it would do. The day was clear and crisp, the temp was around 15oC (59oF) and the sun was shinning, the weather was perfect. The whole day was perfect.
