OOTD: Date Night

Last week hubby and I went on a date night to the movies, We seen the Hobbit in 3D which was excellent, well worth going to see. Even though the weather was hot the other day, I always seem to get cold in the theatre so I work a cover up, I love the back as its cut out but still warm on the arms.

I have trouble putting both these items in to an outfit, the length of the shirt, i tend to always wear tights and the bright pink pants limit the tops together, so i thought why not throw then together and see what happens. Hmm think it needs something extra. Maybe a belt or different shoes?

When i was in Autograph the other day, i had a little extra money left over from returning an item, so since they have their 75% sale on i thought why not have a look, and then i came across this shirt, in a 3 of different colours, blue, white and coral. I have to admit I'm blue first person, i love the colour, and well white is totally not me, stain magnet (maybe i need to learn to eat better Ha.) anyway the sizes were limited, i tried a smaller size then normal as the fabric is forgiving and it fit, hello sale gods. I'm kind if in love with this colour.

OOTD: The one that was meant to be!

I love my Husband dearly and the fact he tries. For Christmas he ventured in to Autograph to buy my a gift for Christmas, and chose a dress instead of the easy option of a gift card, the ladies at the shop told him he was game. ha. The dress he picked was a love blue frilled dressed and fitted perfect except is didn't sit right on me, one of the frills just sat wrong on my bottom and didn't flatter it at all.

So after Christmas i went in and exchanged it and feel in love with this one, and it was on sale so i got a cute top too (OOTD soon), it was the only one left in my size, must have been. Its one of those dresses you can dress up or down, making it more versatile.

I have to say i am not sure about this outfit, i don't mind same colour grouping on top of each other, but i am not sure on the floral print  and plain pants together, but i wore it anyway. I love both items separate. 

I'm not sure why i don't have shoes or nor did i realise at all when i was taking the pictures and the facial expressions, Ha i have no idea whats happening there, these were the best out of the whole lot, so that's saying a whole lot. Ha. Ha.

A little while ago we went out to dinner to celebrate a friends birthday, the weather was beautiful through the day, yet cooled down at night but not enough to wear tights. I love this dress so i thought i would wear my navy stocking with it, and my new pink blazer, as it had been hot nearly every day since i brought it.

So i actually took these photos the day after the party, i didn't get time to take any pictures, well great ones, and there was a few taken on the night, but not all so great, the one below was taken mid party, i did leave the house with red lippy. I had a fantastic time. And i want to say a huge thank you to Olivia for the lend of the dress. I do have to say that i felt super gorgeous wearing this dress

Normally i am in black pants and a plain coloured top due to work, since I've injured my knee I've been in the office, so my little wardrobe is getting a good workout, i so need to do some more shopping. I love working with what i have, I've missed it.

I went to visit my mum a couple of weekends ago and the weather was cool, was so happy cause i just got this new blazer from ASOS, something that i would not normal purchase but happy i did. The colour goes well with the neon colours in the top. Excuse the hair, i so need a hair cut, every day is a bad hair day at the moment.
